It can go bad and it sounds like the capping was the problem. I have a bottle of perfume that's 24 yeàrs old and still going strong. I never use it - I just keep it around for sentimental reasons.

 

Perfume makes me sneeze. So I'd have to say it was bad all along!

Glad to see this thread revived. My latest question, especially for those of you who travel regularly: How do you keep your skin from looking trashed on the road? Any miracle products for combating the effects of multiple flights, hotel showers and no sleep?

 

I find that actually using less makeup works for me. I don't get that worn down makeup look that always seems to happen on those long days when there is no time for touchups. I use extra moisturizer. Try putting your eye cream in the regrigerator. That seems to perk up the eyes after a night of less sleep.

Another thing I do is wear the same colored clothes the entire trip. Find a color that works well with your skin and eyes and find it in a shirt that you are comfortable in. I stick with white, but any color would work. I buy 5 or more of that same exact shirt and that is all I take with me. Which then allows me to narrow down my shoes to two pair: one dressy if I go out, and one for work and the airport. I don't have to plan my clothing the night before or worry about it in the morning. This allows me to keep my makeup routine the same every morning. This always seems to give me almost a full hour of extra sleep each night.

 

Water. Just guzzling water all day. Coffee and alcohol (however medicinal and necessary) just dehydrate you.

I also have great love for H20's Face Oasis...put it on at night over moisturizer, really keeps skin hydrated.

 

I hesitate to post this, because I'd like to minimize the competition, but I read that Jimmy Choo is designing a line of shoes for H&M. The shoes come out in November.

 

For years, the only way I'd heard of H&M was on What Not To Wear. I think there's one at the mall here, but I've still never actually seen one. Where is it prevalent?

 

The first time I was in one was in Amsterdam, way before there were any over here. I know for sure there are a bunch in NYC, one in Philly and a few in the DC area. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

 

There are enough women on here who know me that I feel like I can ask this...I have a haircut in an hour. I've been considering getting the jagged bob that Anne Hathaway had in Rachel Getting Married. Those of you who have seen me (and picture me minus 42 pounds)...would this work on me? How much work is it to make hair piecey? I just kind of wash and go, which apparently won't work with this cut.
