Combination. Oily in the T-zone, dry in the cheeks.

    Dearest SJ women,

    Please point out a purse/handbag that a woman/mother of 30 would like.

    t_b_f,

My sister (who has 3 little ones and is close to 30) has one very similar to this one. The strap's long enough that she can throw it over her shoulder and keep her hands free for the kids.

How much do you want to spend? You can't go wrong with Coach. They're well made and always stylish.

Anything without fragrance. Best ones have retinol/vit c/peptides for fine lines, uneven skin tone. Philosophy's Save Me is great, but only for night as it doesn't have SPF.

Daytime: Revale Skin. Has coffee and tea green -- plumps the skin up, SPF 15. There are some good moisturizers in health store that have green tea/vit c, also, with higher SPFs.
Stay away from department store brands and anything with ingredients you can't spell.

Can't go wrong with a Vera Bradley. They're well made and stylish.

I'm going to vote for this, even though I"m sure you have 30 of them already as gifts...

Coach would be my suggestion as well...great things at every price, you can go cute or elegant. They just came out with a terrific jewelry line too.

AND....just got a Coach free shipping email, today only on purchases over $100.

This is the #1 gift I give to girls of all ages: the Coach mini-skinny. Under $50, a zillion colors and designs....perfect for a credit card and a few bucks, or a little ipod. Slip it in your pocket when you don't want to carry a purse.

I found something almost as rare as a girly sportswriter (which, judging from this thread, is not rare at all)! I have located a girly techie!

IJAG, you can get Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturizer for $11.50. It's really good. As far as drugstore brands, I think Dove makes some great moisturizers and cleansers.

Yeah, yeah. La Mer or Dove. It's all good.
