I'll check out the Clinique. Thanks for the heads up!

I love Coach purses. I have a couple. I also have a Kate Spade black nylon bag that I use quite often. But my fav is a no-name red leather envelope looking purse that I bought in Santa Fe. It's gorgeous and I can put a book into it.

I only have two Coach bags, but I love them both. One I bought about two years ago at an outlet store about 45 minutes from here. LOVED it. Long story short, had to return it. Found it on eBay several months later, bought it. Hadn't carried it yet last April (it's pink) when my mom came to help me move. She loved it, asked to borrow it. I haven't seen it since. I'm getting it at Thanksgiving. :)

It's exactly like this one, only pink.

Bluefly recently started carrying Coach, you can get some good discounts on older styles.

I'm terrible when it comes to purses.

I have a heck of a time finding one I like, I can't bring myself to spend more than $25 on one and I absolutely refuse to buy one that doesn't have a long strap. I'm taller (5'8) and I hate having a purse that sits right under my armpit.

I don't like spending a lot of money on purses either, Rosie. Shoes, however ...

I don't spend a lot either. That's why I go with Vera Bradley. They're good and dependable purses with affordable cost. And they're freakin' cute.

I'm giving away my un-girlyness. What is a kitten heel?

It's a shorter heeled dressier shoe with heels that are wider at the top and narrow toward the bottom. Normally they're only one-half inch tall on a round- or pointy-toed shoe.

Target has some great purses. Isaac Mizrahi's stuff is damn fine, and Merino has some good purses, too. Some of Vera Wang's bags at Kohl's are nice and stuff at Kohl's is always on sale.

I've checked out the Vera Wang for Kohl's. Good stuff.

Another reason to buy Coach purses, a fantastic intersection of "women" and "SportsJournalists.com" ...

My 16-year-old cousin, who is really into fashion, turned me on to this. I now own a (small) glove-tanned leather purse and refer to it as my "baseball glove purse," which my BF gets the biggest kick out of.
