I was dragged out shopping today, and came home from Kohl's with this purse.

It's faux leather, which disappoints me (but I should've known since it wasn't distinctly labeled.) I have to load up with a book and bottle of water and camera -- oh, and my wallet and cellphone -- and see if it'll expand enough.

Bought my wife a Coach pocketbook for her birthday when we were dating and she loved it. But 13 years later she mostly uses bigger handbags that can hold more crap. So there is that, Three Bags.

Reading your cosmetics posts reminded me of this scene from "Mad Men" (second scene in the clip):

Nice purse, PaperDoll. I like the throw-over-the-shoulder variety.

    Cadet,
I just picked up the following shades:

    It's All Greek To Me
    Vodka & Caviar

The latter spoke to me from on high ... I have no explanation for it.

It's All Greek to Me might be my favorite color.

And I'd like to add that they're putting in a Sephora at the mall here. I'm soon going to become a product whore too :D

Sephora opened two locations here about six months ago. I'm scared to take a credit card in there.

Yea, I took a credit card into the one in Vegas, and walked out over $100 later. It'll be cash only for me when the one here opens.

For the Sephora girls--the only way to deal with that place is to shop online. Get what you want and get out.

Just got a new promo code via email-- get a free silver clutch thing with 11 (useless) samples inside, with $50 purchase. Spend $75 and get free shipping too. Code: Glambag

ps, wearing vodka/caviar on my toes. My favorite.

Fuck. Coach purses are ex-fucking-spensive. Bought the wife a purse and wallet and walked out $400 lighter.

    Ouch.
