Question though ... I almost bought a pair of open-toed heels similar to the ones you posted (though not nearly as nice a brand) but I didn't purchase them because I thought it was still a tad early to wear open-toed.

Is there such a thing anymore?
Is open-toed acceptable year-round now?

I've seen a lot of peep-toes around, sxy, so I think it's acceptable.

 

I saw a lot of winter shoes with peep toes this year. Not something I'd do with the weather here, but it seems to be acceptable these days.

 

I go by the 'If the top designers are showing it, go for it' rule.

Completely open toe, no. Peep toe seems to work...but I'd never wear them with stockings. Looks terrible, IMO.

Haven't worn them yet, waiting for Boom to take me somewhere.

I used to be big on strappy shoes, but I am now big on the structure and more solid feel of peep toes.

Don't seethe, go buy. They're completely classic, never go out of style, you'll wear them forever. They were a year-end gift to myself.

They feel perfect...I have no problem with very high heels, I never even needed my permanently numb middle toe, occasionally it tingles so I know it's still there!
