Funny you mention the Dead Sea. Some lady tried to sell me bubble bath from the Dead Sea last week. I didn't love the smell of it...

I bought a bunch of mineral-based eye shadow in Vegas. It certainly stays on and feels nice but it is way too shiny for every day use.

Loving my Bare Escentuals. So light-feeling, because there's no liquid to cake on. I just have the starter kit right now, but I need to get the Allure lip gloss.

gotta disagree on h&m. you can find some neat stuff there. I got a $24 wrap dress there that drew mucho compliments. of course after 2 years it has kind of lost its spunk... so I'm gonna take it apart and copy it in a different color.

also roberto cavalli is doing a mini collection for h&m that debuts this month. cavalli's not my thang, but he's considered a great designer.

Advice requested: eye makeup remover that doesn't burn my eyeballs. Thanks.

What all have you used, Flasher?

I'm a big Clinique fan. My mom (and 21 apparently) swears by Kiehl's and my cousin's in love with something from Lancome.

    I love Kiehl's lip balm.

And I use dermalogica eye make-up remover. It doesn't burn for me.

To be honest, this is really the first time I've used eye makeup remover, because I didn't rea@lu need it ... Not until gel eyeliner anyway. So I picked up some Almay stuff and it is horrendous on me. I have an appointment with a new GP on Friday and she was a dermatologist in her native South Africa. So I may ask her about it.
And yes, I too am a big Clinique fan.

I removed my black halloween makeup with a dry piece of toilet paper.

    Just thought I'd share.

I've got really sensitive skin, so I use the Clinique stuff. It works pretty well.

Kiehl's Extremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. Not cheap but perfect.

The lip balm (in the tube) is one of those 'Going to a desert island, taking 5 things' items. For women and men. Slather it on every night, wake up with the softest lips ever.
