How was were the other two photos obtained? I assume Zimmerman's attorney released the smiling suit photo. Who owns the copyright on Martin's second photo? And is the original high-res and good enough so it can be cropped for a mug shot?

Back to YF for a second: You really do have some points to make about reader perception and what we as "the media" do that causes certain perceptions. That's worth discussing.

Why you chose to wrap those points into your "I'm going to explain how the media really works, in front of an entire message board of media professionals" shtick, I have no idea.

Perhaps it's good for the media professionals to hear what well read readers
perceive. Clearly YF is well read from a wide range of sources and can see the
ambiguities and inconsistencies in various stories on same subject. It's good
that there are still people who want to use their own intuitive reasoning rather
that just accepting whatever news is put out.
