There is something about a female sportswriter or sports blogger that turns other writers into complete buffoons.

If you have a female sports writer who, forget being a 6, is a step or two above hideous, and the other writers treat her like she's 1980s Christie Brinkley.

There's a reason the term "press-box hot" has existed for the last two decades.

Is the reason that the men in the press box aren't professional enough to just treat the woman as a colleague?

No, no, that can't be it. It has to be something else.

I asked a former co-worker who harrassed her more, players or the other writers and she said, "Well, I've never had another writer stand in front of me stroking his dick while I asked him questions, but other than that, it's not too far off."

    They do in 2014.

I think they were a lot more into the piggy-backing at the time of the 2007 rant.

What did this guy do exactly to warrant being fired? I've never quite gotten the full story here. Anybody know?

He DMed one woman on Twitter asking for nude photos, and DMed another telling her he would not bother discussing hockey with her because she is a woman.

    Which was considered more offensive?

I suspect comment number one was more immediately fireable, but I also suspect he had been told that his next slight screw-up would be his last.

Exactly. This on the heels of a two-week suspension to start the season. I'm sure was given a zero-tolerance directive. He broke. He knows it. This was, I'm sure, 10-20 years in the making.

You mean there's something wrong with asking for nude photos from a woman? ???
