    Still waiting on those picutres.

In the meantime, here's an idea for next year's party (or Valentine's Day): the Meta Meat Cake

Four types of sausage, bratwurst, chorizo, ground beef, ground pork, diced ham, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, hickory smoked bacon, hot cappy, queso blanco, provolone and sharp cheddar, wrapped in sausage, bacon and cheese ball dough and baked. Then decorated with American, cheddar squeeze cheese and bacon strips.

Looks good, except for the squeeze cheese. Gotta have some standards.

What could be more fun than standing aroung in 100-degree heat and stuffing yourself with bacon?

It's that time of year again! Cooking with Mustang or Damn My Left Arm is Tingly.

That's right... just a few weeks until the Super Bowl and I am ready to cook something incredibly stupid for the 2011 Super Bowl.

    Past themes:

2009: Bacon - I made a 6lb bacon log that both delicious and terrible for anyone who even smelled it.

2010: An 8.4 pounds calzone featuring two large pizzas, a pound of beef, and god knows what else. Nobody ate it but me.

2011: I want to cook something so unhealthy that people can't pass it up. I don't know if it can be as extreme as the past, but I am not spending $40 on food for it to go to waste again. Please let me know if anyone has suggestions. No.1 on my list right now is grilled cheese sandwiches with cheese sticks in the middle served with nacho cheese dipping sauce.

Also, I just realized that I never posted pics from last year. My phone broke and I have to look on Facebook to see if I ever uploaded them. I will get back to you guys tonight and try to get a photo uloaded of last year's pie.

Meanwhile, that bacon festival in Iowa is bigger and badder than ever:

However, allow me to be preturbed at Beggin Strips as the main sponsor. I don't think you want dog food promoting your people food event.

It's only been a few hours, but my girlfriend has offered to help with my 2011 cooking challenge. I plan to make the snackadium that is featured on thisiswhyyourfat.com. I'm going to buy all the salted snacks and she plans to bake the retaining walls (rice krispie treats).

For those of you who don't feel like visiting the site, the snackadium is a stadium shaped creation that has a football field. The field has guacamole and the endzones are made of salsa and nacho cheese, respectively.

Vienna sausages create the illusion of players on the field. Fans are present in the form of corn chips, pretzels, cheese puffs and Dorito's. The goal posts are made out of Slim Jims. Everything is held inside by bacon... outside that layer of bacon is some spacing where the stadium walls are created with Rice Krispie treats and toothpicks.

I am very excited about this year.

I was going to suggest an over the top dessert.

You could stick with a pork theme, and so something like chocolate covered bacon.

    Good, easy, and not expensive.

Then, I saw this last night:

    What is it?

Why, it's an Oreo stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie:

If you get lucky enough to have a Steelers-Packers Super Bowl, you can use black bean dip for the Steelers' end zone and nacho cheese for the Packers'. Perhaps a green chile salsa for the Jets. Not sure what you do for da Bears.

Green chile salsa is a really good idea because I wasn't sure how I was going to keep the fresh guac from turning brown. Every time I make guacamole it turns brown.

Mix salsa and some form of yellow cheese (Velveeta, cheddar, etc.) until an orange color is achieved. Serve with blue corn chips.
