That movie had some funny moments, even though I don't particularly care for Grammar or Holly. Best one was when they were on silent and the cook farted.

Outside the porn shop, this underrated flick was a lot of laughs, too.
Candy and Levy, always good together. With Meg Ryan and tough guy Robert Loggia.

Always loved the twitchy radio guy, and sometimes break out his line, "It's running like a Swiss ... car."

We watched "Daddy's Home 2" a while back, which had an incredible bad movie Inception moment in it. The climax has them in a theater to watch a bad Liam Neeson action movie called "Missile Tow" in which he's a tow truck driver fighting terrorists
Somehow, that movie actually got made, albeit with a different name (and he's fighting drug dealers instead of terrorists).

That's Don Stroud as the lead cop in the porn shop. He was great with Shelly Winters in "Bloody Mama," Roger Corman's take on the Barker gang.

I love the little girl. “Hi! I shot a turkey and a man! Guess which one’s dead!”

"The Long Ships", which was a Viking-themed job rushed into production after the success of "The Vikings." Richard Widmark as the lead Viking and Sidney Poitier as a Moorish prince, each in search of a fabulous treasure. Having cashed their checks, the stars ham it up to gloriously bad effect.

Man, I liked that movie. They are searching for the Golden Bell. When they eventually find it, it's just a tiny bell hanging from a rope. One of them is so mad, he fires the bell against the wall of the domed building. Uh, etc., etc., etc.

Hahaha. Sandy Koufax met woman named Anne, liked her, they dated, they got close. She introduced Sandy to her dad. The woman is Anne Widmark. Her dad is Richard Widmark. Sandy didn't know who he was.

Probably one of the few times I was star-struck. In 1982, the Dodgers asked some of the writers if they wanted to take the early flight to Vero Beach, a couple of days before the team. Gordie Verrell and I did. A convention at Dodgertown was just ending, so we stayed at a Day's Inn down the street, just for one night. They told us to come back for dinner. When we got there, they told us they had a private room set up for us because the convention was using the main dining room. We went in and there was a table for four, Anne and Sandy Koufax, Gordie and me. Incredible night.
