Not as hard as it is for you to respond to a little criticism and a little advice by being insulting little twits.

I'm not in debt (much), and I haven't posted on this thread. I'm just asking a question about your assholishness.

You are, without a shadow of a doubt, the dumbest fucking person I've read on this board.

    Hondo,

My sister was on a full academic ride at her university, but will still have $20,000 in debt due to housing costs and she's worked the entire time she has been in school, her senior year working two jobs while taking 18 hours per semester.

I wasn't on scholarship and have almost $30,000 total with the same situation as my sister. 99% of my debt is tuition and book costs.

Don't tell me I'm in "Generation Whine." It has nothing to do with being able to handle money. It has everything to do with wanting an education.

Apparently college and all its trappings are free in Hondo's world. Must be nice.

Haven't lived at home in nearly 10 years. Haven't received any money from mommy and daddy, aside from Xmas or birthday gifts, in nearly 10 years. My parents are my heroes who never spoiled me, not once.

    Try again, asshole.

I remember the time you swore you were away from this board for good. Those were the good ol days. If you went away, I guarantee you no one would miss or mention you, unless the topic was Board's Biggest Assholes.

Not to nitpick, but the term "neo-con" gets thrown around wrongly on this board. Neo-conservatives are former lefties who became militantly anticommunist and believe in promoting freedom and democracy abroad through pro-democracy movements, foreign aid and as in Iraq, military intervention. They support the Republican party for foreign policy reasons. The typical neo-conservative, such as Irving Krystal or Norman Podhoretz, is pretty fiscally liberal, though. I think it was Krystal who described them as liberals who had been mugged by reality. Typically, they support social welfare spending that libertarians and more typical conservatives are against, and they are ardent believers in civil rights. Sorry for the lecture, but it bugs me every time I see the term used incorrectly. Not sure what I'd characterize Hondo as--maybe reactionary. But what he said wasn't a "neo-con" point of view.

Not talking specifically about BYH, but Ragu, you're dreaming. I must have tried to make this point ten times. People think Neo-con sounds sinister (the great David Brooks line is that Con is short for conservative & neo is short for Jewish), and like to use it as a short hand for "evil conservative".

It will probably cost Pringle more points off his credit score to cancel the card than it would to actually have a late bill.

Yep, The Man fucked you. Go cry to George Bailey. Maybe he can help you bring down Mr. Potter and earn an angel his wings.

Yeah I'm sorry for misusing the term neo-con. I was just trying to insult the King Asshole.

Me too. Borders isn't very good. B&N has a great selection.
