A half a run of ERA is significant. I don't know how that can be danced around.

Jo Poz wrote about Greinke again today. Among the numbers:

    1. Greinke has five complete games. No TEAM has more. No individual has more than two. It's more complete games than Kansas City had combined the last two years.

    2. Greinke has gone 14 starts without allowing a HR.

    3. Greinke has 10 starts this year and has not allowed more than two runs.

    4. In 75 innings, Greinkie has allowed 67 base runners.

    5. Greinke has 81 strikeouts to 12 walks.

Both are at the top of their respective game.

I hate it for Scales, but he had a nice run while it lasted and should have some nice stories to tell his family.

So excited to see Fox hit, but he's the worst defensive player ever.

I thought I read something about Fox playing in the outfield, at least at first.

He is a good hitter, right? I just picked hip up in the Certain Idiots Allowed league :D

Based on what I"ve heard from friends who have seen him play in DM, the guy needs a road map to play third base.

As Hammer mentioned, he's not really good with the glove. He's a former catcher who they're trying to convert into a first baseman but they've also used him at third as well. My guess is they'll try him at third for now.

Don't know anything about the other two guys.

Not sure if this is the same Blanco who used to be in KC's system. If it is, he was pretty solid defensively but just couldn't hit in the bigs.

Well then he'll fit right in on this roster.
