They most certainly do need you. And a good ass-kicking from Lou. This is as bad as they've looked in a few years. Soriano has to go to second to get Hoffpauir in the lineup every day. They need to somehow figure out a way to score some runs. The starting pitching has been waaaaay too good for the team to sit one game above .500. Hendry must fix this soon.

Soriano to second base, Fox to third base, Hoffpauir in left.

Fuck defense. Let's score some runs.

Four runs in five games? Fuck that noise.

I'd still take him over Aaron Fucking Miles.

And I'd still take Kerry Wood over that fucking cumstain Gregg too.

Might not be many runs scored for a while by either Chicago team The White Sox have gotten a little boost from facing the pile of suck that is the Pirates, but where is that team going to find an offense? Now they are talking about Carlos Quentin playing through pain in his heel all season and the results of that so far are pretty terrible.

One can only wait so long while at a bar. The immortal Mike Morgan was the other, kids.

Wild one brewing in Dodgerville. A crazy bottom of the ninth inning passed without a run (but several lineup changes and position switches, and more position switches), and it's free baseball time in LA.

Who says nothing is free in LA?

What a weird stat: The Padres are batting .198 during their current eight-game winning streak -- all at home.

Their pitchers have a 1.59 ERA during that stretch, though.

    I suppose I should expect a low-scoring game tomorrow.

As you know, a low-scoring game can be fun to watch too.

Of course. As a former pitcher, I'd rather see those every time.

Let me make sure I got this right:

Three starters -- Delgado (DL), Reyes, Schneider (DL)--- out. Beltran DH only because of bum knee. Closer in the hospital with back spasms. Back-up shortstop on the DL. Back-up ctacher on the DL.

Ramon fucking Ramirez, Angel Pagan, Jeremy Reed and Omir Santos are starters. Daniel Murphy is learning first base on the fly and hasn't had a hit in about a month.

To quote a certain fat-ass know-it-all on WFAN on Friday "You can't go into Fenway with that lineup and think you're going to win a game."

So maybe the fucking Red Sox and the al-fucking-mighty AL East ain't all that good after all.

    Fuck you, Red Sox Nationassholes.
