    What's the longest regular season losing streak by a team that went on to qualify for the playoffs?

    I know the 2007 Rockies lost 8 in a row ... don't know if that is a record or not. Probably not.

    Looks like the answer is the 51 Giants. Lost 11 in a row at one point but won the pennant.

    Longest losing streak by Series winner is 9 in a row by the 53 Yankees.
