What did Theriot do to piss you off this time? Looks like he's having a good offensive day (2-for-3, 1 walk, 2 steals) so far.

Lord is Justin Morneau ever locked in right now. Since Monday, Morneau is hitting .455 with three homers, eight RBI and five runs. He also has a .571 OBP and 1.364 SLG%.

Hopefully this means he's turning around his trend of having a slow second half of the season.

He can really help out his team by picking up 13 more RBIs in his next at-bat.

Milledge isn't coming up yet. Maybe in another week or so. The Pirates called up Steve Pearce to finally get some at-bats. Pearce will share time with Jones at first, with both of those guys an option to go into the outfield on a day when Delwyn Young or Brandon Moss doesn't play.

The likely lineup will be Jones at first, Young in right, and Moss in left with Pearce filling in 4 times per week at one of those positions.

Oh, and Matt Holliday is on fire right now, too. Someone PLEASE get this guy out of Oakland and onto a contending team.

    He's hitting .583 this week.

I can't find a link, but reports are coming out that the Red Sox have traded Julio Lugo to the Cardinals for OF/1B Chris Duncan.

Red Sox Nation can now rejoice.
