Where's poor little Tommy Glavine and his grievance now? Seems the Braves chose to keep a young guy who can pitch instead of a washed up old piece of shit.

But as for this "first NL rookie to beat the Yankees and Red Sox in consecutive starts" well, how many NATIONAL LEAGUE rookies have even pitched against the Yanks and Red Sox in consecutive starts? Two or three, maybe?
    Stupid fucking stat.

Tom Glavine is still not a member of the Royals. This perplexes me.

The Royals are making the right nonmove.

It's just that every Atlanta castoff has wound up in KC since Dayton Moore took over... Kyle Davies, Tony Pena Jr., Brayan Pena, Bruce Chen... the list goes on. And on and on.

I think he's looking for cheap, young players who can grow with the team. Glavine doesn't fit the part.

I turned to BYH at the outing game on Saturday and said, "Is that REALLY Bruce Chen pitching for Kansas City?"
How old is he now, 100?
We tried to play the name all his team games but ran out of time before we got to all of them.

Chen really isn't that old. He turned 32 June 19. He just sucks.

Sure, there's not enough of a sample size for it to be meaningful. Hell, he may be the first rookie to get the chance. But it sounds cool.

As for Bruce Chen, I had no idea he was still playing. I thought he was designing toilets for third-world countries or something by now.

Way to not turn what could have been an easy double-play, Mets. Christ.

They turned them all this weekend, see where it got them.
