Royals trade player to be named later to the Cubs for Ryan Freel. What a crappy trade.

The last player Freel was traded for was Joey Gathright.

Does Joey still leap cars in a single bound?

Can somebody please explain why two major-league franchises actually bothered to trade for this guy this season?

Wow. Another umpire gets his license out of a Cracker Jack box. I'd like to know what the hell Marty Foster was looking at when he called Jeter out.

The decline of MLB umpiring continues. I'm no Yankees fan, but Girardi and Jeter were right to argue.

According to the story, the Angels scrammed after they saw him touching 85 on the gun last month.

Really, how much worse can he be than Rodrigo Lopez.

Hey Yankee Fans Get Off Your Arse

    Today's game - Yankees down 7-4 in bottom of 9th - 2 outs - runners and 2nd and 3rd - Matsui at plate - no noise - no one standing -

Matsui singles - now 7-6 Hinske up - still little noise and no one standing -

What use to be a hallmark of Yankee stadium now lost.

A team with Jamie Moyer in the rotation is unlikely to be scared off by an 85 mph fastball.
