The scoreboard should show that old John Lennon quote from a 1963 Beatles concert in London.
"You people down front-rattle your jewelry!"

Mark Reynolds' K record appears safe. Chris Davis sent (finally!) to AAA.

The Braves aren't seriously considering trading Y. Escobar, are they?*

    *(As mentioned on CBS Sportsline)

Yes. Cox doesn't much like his 'tude.

Apparently so. And Vasquez as well.
Not sure what the deal is with Escobar. I know they don't like his attitude, but hell, he's good. Almost All-Star caliber. And dirt cheap. Doesn't make sense to me, but what do I know?

"Dirt cheap" being relative of course.

They should hang on to Vazquez this year. It's not until Year Two that he begins to find his proper level.

Pretty cool moment for Nomar as he came to bat in the top of the second in Boston. He acknowledged the crowd gracefully as they gave him a standing ovation for a solid 45-60 seconds. Looks like he wiped away some tears towards the end of it.

Phillies' offense coming alive tonight. Up 7-0 on the Reds with two outs in the bottom of the first.

EDIT: Utley hits a three-run bomb. Now it's 10-0 at the end of the first. They hit three home runs in the inning.

One more reason the Mets are toast. The Phils are ready to run away and hide
