    He could be just getting over the WBC and he does seem to shine at SafeCo. The Mariners may be a few games back but going into tonight they have 4 home games in hand over the Angels and 9 over the Rangers (and 5 in hand over the Yankees). These extra home games could be the difference in the AL West or AL Wild Card and if they get a guy particularly suited to their home park - it's worth investigation. He'll probably cost the Orioles about $1.5 mil next year so Baltimore could look at moving him as a cost function.

    Three games is not a real big sample, Chris. And maybe it's the team he's pitchng against and not the ball park, and he won't be pitching against the Mariners if they were to trade for him.

    Only reason Pena was in the game was because Guillen hurt his leg, I think. But I understand what you're saying.
