Would that even count as a blown save?

Good call ... I believe he entered the game in a non-save situation.

    Dude still blows, though.

What in the holy hell is going on in Denver? My MLB.com gametracker has been stuck in the 7th inning for 30 minutes. Looks like Yahoo's down, too.

EDIT: Finally found one on CBSsportsline. 9th inning now. Whew, Braves still ahead. Christ, I do NOT (heart) Peter Moylan or the rest of the Braves suck-tastic bullpen. Give the ball to Soriano and get the fuck away from the mound, you guys.

Soriano tried to screw it up.

    Leadoff single ... K ... K ... K.

Hey Joe Maddon, thanks for making sure Ian Kinsler got fucked over again.

Brian Schneider just hit a home run...the first by a Met in 9 games!

And 2 batters later, Fernando Tatis goes deep.

Never thought, in 2009, ANYONE would be excited by anything Brian Schneider or Fernando Tatis did on a baseball diamond.
Ladies and gentlemen, your 2009 New York Mets!

Francoeur with two more hits, a line drive single and a double in the gap.

Omar for Executive of the Year.

The Mets are 2-0 with Francoeur. There are two reason for this:

Johan Santana pitched yesterday and Aaron Harang pitched against them today.

His 100th career win, too. Any chance he makes a run at 300 in his career? He's 29, with a team that should be a perennial contender, and has turned into a guy good for 15-20 wins a season when healthy. If he can keep it up for another eight or nine years he might have a shot.

The Angels make a statement at the All-Star break. The Yankees went in winning 13 of 15 ... and are getting swept in the Big A.
