Sort of a rules question here - you cannot do a sign and trade in MLB but how long do you have to wait until you can trade a free agent you signed in the off season? Is it six months?

 

I'm pretty sure it's June 15, Lou.

 

It is June 15, though a player can be traded w/his consent prior to that date.

In other news, can one of our Cubs fans explain to me when Glendon Rusch became the Fat Bastard? Holy smokes that dude got heavy.

 

Considering Rusch has always sucked, does it really matter if he's fat, too.
