And I'm still bitter he walked two guys with 2 outs to lead to a big inning.

On the other side, Shawn Hill has given up two hits to Ryan Howard and none to the rest of the lineup through 5 1/3.   He looks like he doesn't suck, too, though I would take Hamels without hesitation if offered the choice.

That should be self-evident. Neither approach produces actual runs.

    Two simple points Mustard:

Mauer is hitting a very soft .388.
Any "stat" that requires as much mathmatical maneuvering as RC27 is Total. Bull. Shit.

    That is all.

You just keeping rooting them Nats past the Phils and we Mets fans will be happy.

Oh, forget the Livan deal. I'll stick with Alay Soler for now. Mets got enough Cubano pitchers.
Time to stand pat until July and see what happens.

I am saying, in case you had trouble reading the last post:
Mauer is hitting a soft .388.

I used Reyes as an example and you turned into a pissing conterst that trhreww some some sabermetric bullshit formula called RC27.

I repeat, Mauer is hitting a soft .388. That is all I was saying.

I'm amused by the thought that there's such a thing as a "soft" .388.
there might be a soft .300, but what's soft about .388? you can't punish the guy because his lineup's for shit, can you? that should make that .388 harder than A_F looking at a kiddie porn site.

  11. Conversley - Justin Morneau is hitting a very HARD .250

    I think I would rather have Mauer's soft .388

Hamels Shmamels. How 'bout Carlos Marmol?

6 ip, 2 hits, 1 run. And the best part, 99 pitches. This kid's been really good since coming up two weeks ago. Two good relief performances and now an excellent start.
