Simply put, Percival has helped the Rays get where they are.
It is highly doubtful he will continue to help them get to where they want to go.

The Rays probably have plenty of firepower from within to help out in their closer position, and it's something to note that their top prospect, David Price, is yet to be called up to the majors.

I would sure hope so. Anyone but the Sox or Yanks.

I'm pretty sure we can count the fourth-place Yankees out.

I know, I'm referring to the fact that the last team not named the Sox or Yanks to win the AL East was in 1997. I would love for that streak to end now.

    Never!

Led by Brett Gardner and Alfredo Aceleablahadkghadg, the Yankees are about to go on a 17-game win streak.

    Wait, wait, wait.

You know who the Rays' top prospect is, but you don't know who the Red Sox' top prospect is?

I fell asleep after the Mets took a late four-run lead. That'll teach me. Sounds like I missed some excitement and more of Dukes' being an asshole. Nats score 18 runs in two games in NY and go 0-2. Quality.

Which was exactly my point. The Rays shouldn't even count on him for the rest of the season, much less 2009.

Probably heard it on Around the Horn.
