The Astros, rightfully, don't want to give up a home game. Arlington is about as "neutral-friendly" as the 'Stros are going to get, but I don't know if that's been discussed.

The Cubs offered Miller Park, which would be a huge advantage for Chicago and everybody knows it. And I think both teams turned down Busch, although I can't imagine a St. Louis crowd would like either of those teams too much for it to be an advantage.

You'd think a reasonable solution could be hammered out, but not if the Cubs are going to offer Miller Park and Selig is going to try to make it easy on the Brewers. Stupid conflicts of interest.

Believe it or not Busch Stadium isn't available because the Cardinals have some kind of "Spend the Night at the Ballpark" event planned this weekend.

No word on whether or not their fans will be allowed to park their homes in the outfield.

If the Cubs and Astros want to meet in the middle, how about AutoZone Park in Memphis? That's a sweet AAA stadium, and it seems neutral enough.

Can someone give me any reason, good or bad, for Ponson to pitch again this year, or ever as a Yankee?

The Toronto-ChiSox game that was double bagels after seven is now 6-4 Toronto, top of nine.

What in the love of Christ happened, there?

The eighth inning, apparently. All the runs were earned.

Shit. I think Pujols comes to the plate every inning against the Cubs. And in every single big spot.
