He was there for about three months two (?) years ago. Got released 'cause he sucked.

He's the best season-closer with chips on the table I have seen in a while.

Dave Duncan's legend, as if it were possible, was raised this year.

Kyle Lohse was in the NL LAST year, too.... and blew massive chunks.

Or, before Stewart, LaMarr Hoyt and Richard Dotson....

Oh, I know there were others. Stewart was just the one that popped into my head first, and his career turnaround was among Duncan's best work. He was bad enough for the Phillies to release him in 1986, then with Oakland he was in the top four in the Cy Young voting four consecutive seasons from 1987-1990.

What a non-story. The Post just wants people to know they were the first (I assume) to get Wagner on the phone after surgery.

The results are in for the playoff-potential coin tosses.

The Phillies went 4 for 4.

If there's a playoff for the NL East title vs. the Mets or for the wild card vs. the Brewers, Astros or Cardinals, it will be played in Philly.

    Milwaukee went 1 for 4.

If there's a playoff for the NL Central title it would be played in Milwaukee. If the Brewers have to play a playoff for the wild card. the Brewers would have to go to either St. louis, Houston or Philly.

The Red Sox won the coin flip with Tampa Bay (for a potential NL East playoff) and with Minnesota (for a wild-card berth).

If there's a playoff for the AL Central, it would be in Chicago.

However, they didn't list on the MLB release any results for a White Sox-Red Sox wild card game or a Chicago-Tampa Bay wild-card game or a Minnesota Tampa Bay playoff game.

Back in the NL, an NL West playoff would be at Dodger Stadium.

Houston lost wild-card coin flips with the Phillies and Cardinals.
