How 'bout that Micah Owings, stepping big time to lead the Diamondba... Oh, that's right, they traded him for rental and future $120 million man, Adam Dunn.

How's that working for you, D-backs?

In their defense, they're 5 1/2 games out a couple weeks after the Dodgers lost eight in a row.

    wait a minute.

What is Jerry Manuel thinking? He let a 21-year-old throw 116 pitches tonight in his second major league start. He probably ruined Jon Niese for life.*

Niese also asked Manuel to let him finish the game.. having learned in just 2 weeks that a 5-0 lead is not safe with the Mets bullpen.

Hey that's nothing. Tim Lincecum threw 136 pitches tonight.

He'll probably be on the DL til 2020.

I heard the Yankees might let Joba Chamberlain throw 50 pitches next time out.

    That's simply fucking impossible.

He won't be at 50 until he's at least 28.

David Price just made his debut, striking out one in a perfect inning in the Bronx.

David Wright is still pretty good. Another two homers today, accounting for all the Mets' runs.
