Holy shit....Yost is parrotting what Willie Randolph said last September and we all know how that ended.

It's always a good assumption that it will be you, mikey, but I believe he has one or two other targets in mind on that one.

Shit. Willie Randolph is Joe Torre compared to Ned Yost. We all know how September ended for the Brewers last year too.

I'd kill to have Willie Randolph right now. I'd kill to have Willie & Lester right now.

I'm sure Lester is waxing something far more poetic to Gene Rayburn in this pix than the Pollyanna-ish spiel Yost dishes out to unfortunes like Tom Haudricourt on a daily basis.

Haurdricourt should get hazard pay ... watching that shit and listening to that psycho-babble day after day has to damage one's psyche.

"They're probably drinking champagne and having in a beer shower right now in our locker room while we sulk about what happened here," said Braun. "It's ironic, where we're at as a team and how we feel at the end of this series and see them celebrating a no-hitter on our field.

"The way things are going, it doesn't surprise me. It's almost fitting."

    Good stuff.

We WERE talking baseball, you know.

I know it's the National League and that may be foreign to you, but trust us, it still counts.

I know nobody gives a shit about my fantasy team. I'm aware.

But because of Carlos Zambrano, I made the title game of a fairly high stakes league.
