    Yes!

I made the semis of my money league thanks to him.

Hopefully, if that happens, someone's head will explode.

Milwaukee didn't even know the Brewers were playing today. The Packers were on, followed by Brett Favre and the Jets against the Patriots.

I needed the CG. Had he given up a hit at all in the 8th or beyond, he likely would have been pulled. But he gave me the CG and a no-hitter, to boot. It was phenomenal.

Combine that with the Broncos winning the flukiest of flukey games and you have a helluva day for me.

It will be really weird to be cheering for the Yankees to win.

Anyone know who the Red Sox' top prospect is?

All right, I know the ramifications of what I'm about to do.

    But I want this.

So, for the first time in my life:

    Go Yankees.

You mean, the same way the "big market" types heads should have exploded after the Red Sox won the World Series for the second time in four seasons last year?

I get it. If a low-revenue franchise wins five games in a row, it is proof that the system is working. When a big-market team wins, well, they were just smart.

So, y'all really want to start this again right now?

You keep ignoring the main, salient talking point.

This has NEVER been about one perfect year.

It's about being able to keep your players and have as many resources as any other team in a league.

The A's, the Marlins ... every small-market team, even the Twins, the exception that proves the even-playing-field rule, unwillingly says goodbye to the stars who took them to their heights.

I think the Rays are making a mistake by bringing up Price so early. Don't give a shit if you're in a pennant race.

Why? He looked pretty solid yesterday, like he can handle it.
