They should just set a precedent by trading for Eric Brynes for one day and then start him. Brynes would throw a perfect game and the Diamondbacks could have him back before first pitch.

  2. Great idea, except for Byrnes being out for the year.

Dan Driessen made me wait an hour outside a Houston hotel bar for his autograph in '77. So he can eat shit and die.

He used to be a reliever too.

As noted earlier, tonight we're gonna party like it's 2009.

Edit: Nats at O's, June 26-28. Weekend series. And Moddy's in charge of the 2009 Outing.

Brewers get finally three series at home with the Cubs with two in Chicago after two years in a row of the opposite.

Has MLB decided with Astros-Cubs series will be moved from Minute Maid to Miller Park yet? I'm trying to plan ahead.

Rays open the season at Boston for two, then three at Baltimore before opening at home against the Yankees. Regular season runs into the first weekend of October; Rays close at home against the Yankees.

Other potential outing weekends in Baltimore: June 12-14 (Braves), June 26-28 (Gnats, as already gnoted), July 10-12 (Jays), July 31-Aug. 2 (Boston) and I'll also mention Aug. 14-17 (Angels, series ends on a Monday), although that's pretty late.

If I go, I'd like to see some good baseball myself. Except the Orioles are involved ... well, so much for good baseball.
