I know this is sacrilegious, but I've gotta ask: Does Vin Scully ever shut up? Sure, he sounds great and he usually has interesting things to say, but a little "white space" wouldn't hurt now and then!

Our baseball editor would hate you. My coworker (the Cubs fan) and I make fun of Vin Scully all the time and it makes the poor guy's head nearly explode. Apparently, Vin now is not vintage Vin...but I feel let down after all I'd heard.

 

My Dad has never, ever liked him...to the point where he'd put on the radio during the World Series so he wouldn't have to hear Scully.

Obviously, I didn't grow up a Scully fan, but I've come to appreciate him more over the years.
