If Greinke should, for whatever reason, put together a September similar to last season (4-1, 2.18), I think he could still win the Cy. Sure, his record would look a little weird (16-9), but there might be just enough people out there to look past the W-L.

It's a shame the Royals are so pathetic. The team should be forced to pay out his lost $100K Cy bonus if he has the stats but fails to win.

Mo won't get it. As I noted on the Jeter MVP debate, outside the northeast corridor, everybody hates the Yankees. He might get four lifetime achievement votes, but that's it.

He's a very interesting candidate though, and might be the most deserving one in a year with a lot of very good but not great starting pitchers. Still think Greinke has been the best pitcher in the league and might be at 37 wins already if the Royals could score for him.
