Dunn hit one I thought was going to land in the river at Great American Smallpark...I think it hit the corner of the stands on the way up. The best part? My high school buddy was pitching at the time.

I saw Dunn hit a homer off of Bryce Harper once, crossed a couple of state lines.

my dream match-up...Adam Dunn vs. Larry "Seats" Casian. That would be compelling.

Has Adam Dunn ever homered off Cole Hamels?

Hamels: the epitome of mediocrity. Looks like he's still living off his reputation of last October.

Instead of wasting time throwing Dunn four pitches once last night, the D-Backs went ahead and plunked him. Willingham comes up and drives another one out. They show his .309 average and my son says, "No way. That has to be a mistake. This guy is a .259 hitter."

When's the last time the majors had two scoreless games go into extras in the same week?

Yeah, guys NEVER struggle when they pitch 240 innings in a season after never having come anywhere remotely close to it before.

And that "reputation from October"? Yeah, a 4-0 record in a postseason with a 1.80 ERA will do that for you.

His numbers since the end of April are Pujols-esque

Before they start his at-bat music now, they do a quick "STOP: HAMMER TIME." It's pretty funny.
Sonner, the "Hammer" comes from the LAST part of his last name and refers to the fact that he is hammering the ball.

    Will-er just didn't work.

My daughter, now 13, was devastated when he was traded.

In our house, the Hammer had taken a three-year hitaus from being Hank Aaron.
