Yeah. I wondered about that....like two weeks ago. You should read your own blog comments. :)

J-Will has been nothing short of phenominal the last four to six weeks. Everyone has. The first five hitters in the lineup as as good as any in the league right now.

There was a certain buzz at the park today that has been lacking, well, all year. It was actually fun. But damn was it fucking hot today. Just miserable heat and humidity.

If I remember correctly, that has to be decided by Tuesday.

And you mention the Nats' top five. Well, No. 6 hitter Elijah Dukes has 10 RBi in three games and had a stretch of six straight at bats with at least one RBI. He's pretty hot, too.

You'll hear more about him as he grows up. He was throwing first-pitch strikes all day and his slider and change were filthy.

Please tell me you're not rooting for Elijah Dukes. Guy is a HOF scumbag.

Agreed. Lots of 'em out there. If we stop rooting for athletes who are scumbags, we limit the pool considerably.
He plays for the one team in the world I care about so, yeah, I root for his success on the field. And for him to stay out of trouble.
