This doesn't happen as much as it used to for some reason.

Lenny Dykstra used to get one dumped on him about once a year.

They threw beer all over Dykstra in the first official night game at Wrigley.

A wanton waste of beer is the real crime here.

The guy should sue the shit out of security. They went after him because he was fat and appeared to be non threatening.

Not to metion the fact that Raul Ibanez was right there below the wall pointing to him.

Which is funny because there is no way he saw who threw it.

Looking at the video, it appears to be the guy in the white t-shirt about two-three people to the fat guy's right.

Watch out Kenosha ... incoming home run ball off Prince Fielder's bat.

Hell, these days when you pay $125 for a beer at some places, you wouldn't be throwing that shit around on purpose either.

Mr. Happy [Neftali Feliz] is on another strikeout roll. He's struck out five of the six batters he's faced in two innings of relief pitching. He's only made a few appearances since getting called up by the Rangers on August 3 but I believe he's struck out all but two batters he's faced.

    Dude's like Sidd Finch.

Speaking of which ... another 4-for-4 day for Josh Hamilton with 2 doubles (had a chance for a fifth hit but the top of the 9th ended with him on deck). He is now hitting .260 on the year. The dude should fall off the wagon more.

ADD: That batting average is up 40 points (!!!) in 10 games. Easy to do when you don't have the ABs after spending six weeks on the DL, but still. He is 18-for-37 over that stretch.

That guy they blamed for the beer throwing at Wrigley made Bartman look like Brad Pitt. Pretty sure he brought his glove to the game and kept score on his iPhone.

It's a final. Attention turns to the Fens.

Ibanez was pointing in the direction. From the angle he had running in on the play, I'd venture to guess that he just saw the area where the cup came from.
Dude who threw the cup, got to give him credit. It didn't appear that he cocked his arm and threw it. He could say someone knocked him from behind and the cup flew out of his hand.
