    A very rare solid performance by the Sox out West in an 8-1 win over the A's. Floyd pitches well again. His last two outings: 15 IP, 2 ER.

    (Oh, and it wasn't exactly his pitching that was the problem today. Two errors on the same play was the real culprit.)

    I heard that the Sox are bringing back Freddy Garcia for a start Tuesday against KC. Can't be any worse than Contreras has been lately.
