I saw him against the Nats and wanted to cry, even though the Nats lit him up. That's not how John Smoltz should be going out. Follow Maddux' lead. Listen to the Eddie Murphy voice. GET OUT. GETTT OUTTTTTTT.

Last time I saw Glavine, he was going for No. 299 -- and didn't make it out of the 3rd, despite a 6-spot by the Mets in the 1st.

(And way to jinx it early, dickhead! :D)

Ask spnited about his final Glavine memory.

We saw Glavine last year at Nats Park, where he pulled a hammy or something early. Looked like he had an early stage gut growth and his pitches were realy weak. Sad.
These guys were GREAT. Not really good. GREAT. For a long fucking time.
So GETTT OUTTTTTTTTTTTTT and don't soil those memories.

Criminy that was a blast. Landed in the back of the bullpen.
    The upper deck bullpen.

I couldn't recall a pitcher following such an awful outing with such a great outing as Ricky Nolasco did Tuesday..... and then Wandy Rodriguez pitched tonight.

    Jesus Christ.

29 pitches in the first inning. 64 in the next 7.

Body found on Chipper Jones' ranch. No truth to the rumor it was a Mets fan. Or Jimmy Hoffa.

Rodriguez has had quite a few starts like that this year. Sometimes he escapes that first-inning trouble. Sometimes, like last week, not so much.
