    Cubs fell to 1,014-1,015 against the Dodgers.

    Pretty amazing.

    Well, I guess the Trib would be able to get the inside scoop on that.



    Billy Wagner to Rays or Marlins? Interesting, but the Rays won't pick up his salary so the Mets would have to stay on the hook for that.

    Just saw this on Yahoo from the Jays-Red Sox game last night:

    Jays pitcher Brett Cecil threw a live ball into the dugout, without thinking, and the umps awarded Jason Bay another base for a live ball out of play.

    Cecil just wanted to get the ball out of play, since it had a scuff on it. Obviously a boneheaded, brain dead play.
