A-Rod just missed a homer by a matter of inches. Brad Penny gets booed off the mound.

EDIT: Nice job catching Bowden after that homer, NESN.

    Fuck you, Penny.

    Too baggy, though.

And where are the yellow pants?

I don't know if Kazmir has been pulled yet or not, but he's having a very solid outing against the Rangers.

Thus far, he's thrown seven innings, allowed three hits, no runs and has walked one and struck out four.

EDIT: Given that he's thrown only 85 pitches at my last check. He'll likely go eight innings or possibly get the complete game.

Rays fans should be pleased after Kazmir's awful first half.

Kaz is still in, but Teagarden just almost got a home run to the deepest part of the Tilt-a-dome. Umps are discussing it now.

... and ruling it a homer. Probably the right call, but bye-bye shutout.

Kaz exits with two on, one in, one away in the eighth. Thanks for jinxing it, you dork Red Sox fanboi. :D

    yanks win 20-11.

conversely, the yanks' AA team, trenton, won 1-0.

Anyone else see the LLWS about Jim Rice? It's comments like this that made me wish he had to wait for the Veterans Committee before getting into Cooperstown.

So you could be a class act, do everything the right way and have a HOF career ... but if you do it with a baggy uniform and dreadlocks, well, you're setting a horrible example to today's youth.
