How is it possible that there were six UTP's in the 1920s, including two on back-to-back days, only one between then and 1991, and seven since?

And that wiki article already has the one from today ... as well as a BOOO METS! line that I suspect will be removed at some stage.

1st UTP to end a game since Johnny Neun on May 31, 1927. That one was a 1-0 game.

With both runners stealing, Bruntlett just had to be at the right place at the right time. Sure enough, he was.

    That's Werth's 3-run bomb in the 1st. Here's the play:

I have my doubts ... especially now that the no-hitter is over. Todd Helton singles up the middle with one out in the sixth.

Let me be the first to declare that Oliver Perez sucks b/c he's older than his listed age. Dude is going gray and he's, what, 28? Of course if I pitched for the Mets, I'd be going gray too.

plenty of men go gray in their 20's. not that i doubt perez could be older. what's the diff? he sucks at any age.

I think Giants backup catcher Eli Whiteside started going gray around puberty.

That's a great point. I still stand by Ollie being like 38 though.
