And it's over. Tigers draw first blood, beating the Twins. Monroe with a two-out single down the line in the 10th.

Good outing by Miner to match Liriano (aside from strikeouts).

Well-played game. No errors, no wild pitches by either side.

The way it's supposed to be played. I TiVo'd this, so I'll watch it when I get home.

I wish the Dodgers had gone after Radke 5 years ago. That 16-game win streak was awesome. He would've looked good in Dodger blue.

They might have went with Nathan for a second inning, but he did have a prolonged ninth with the two walks.

But it was probably smart to let him only pitch one, so he can come back Saturday, if needed.

Mench didn't play. But Cordero came in late in relief. Reds win 4-3, pick up another game on the Cards.

David Bell to Milwaukee for a low a-ball middle reliever. Weeks to DL.

Luke Scott just singled with 2 outs in the bottom of the 11th to give him the cycle. He hit a three-run homer in the fourth, an RBI triple in the fifth and an RBI double in the seventh. 4-for-6 with 5 RBI on the evening. Not to shabby.

And the Yankees are within 1/2 game of the division and Wang moves to 12-4 on the season with a 3.77 ERA.

Right now, Rios has two hits, two RBI, a stolen base ... Blue Jays couldn't be happier to see him back.

bj ryan loads the bases in the bottom of the 8th on two hits and his own error. then, he falls behind 2-0 to mark ellis before getting a dp to escape up 4-3. yikes.
