    OK, I'm sorry that's a stupid fucking stat. :)

With a lot of night games today and day games tomorrow, makes sense that trades might not happen until after Sunday's games.

    But... fact is a fact.

So does Tejada get dealt by Baltimore or not by Monday? And should they trade him or hold him?

Glavine getting hammered again. I'm really starting to worry that the league's caught up to the fact that he's throwing inside some. This past month and a half looks pretty similar to parts of the first two and a half years in New York: a guy with mediocre stuff getting hit hard.

Hoping I'm wrong, but he needs to start stringing together quality starts to ease my mind about him in the playoffs.

He won't get dealt if Angelos nixes trades (like he reportedly has this week) and if Tejada continues to complain that he wants to stay put and doesn't want a move to third base (like he said last night).

    He's just done.

Too old to have the pinpoint command his junkballing requires.

Oh... and he doesn't get those calls three inches off teh outside edge anymore.

    Lethal combo.

    He's killing my roto team.

Meanwhile Beltran is trying to cover every inch of the bleachers with home runs this weekend. Good lord what a difference a year makes.

And to think, the Royals got John Buck, Mark Teahen and Mike Wood for Beltran. Great trade, huh?

Sox up 4-2 on a Dye single in the 6th, but Vazquez has yet to give up his normal 5-run inning. I'm scared.

What gives me some hope, though, is how good he was last year in the second half and the first half this seson.

Vazquez just gave up a homer to the first batter of the inning.

Lightbulb burns brightest before it dies,

I'm sure that is all that is.

Glavine had three outs to get to get in official position for win No. 287 and pulled himself out after 99 pitches.

Either he's hurt, or mentally he's toast.
