Utley's 0 for 4 and maybe has one more at-bat if he's lucky.

 

Coste of the Phillies just had a beautiful AB. Simply wonderful battle before stinging an RBI-single down the RF line. He deserves another 10 days just for that AB.

 

Seems to happen a lot to teams that play the Red Sox this season.

see, this is where a record can be fuzzy. what if utley gets up to 40, 45, 50, 55 games? they'll talk about that swinging bunt/e-1/FC (you choose) for a long time. i know the guy has the title of official scorer, but man, it takes serious onions to be the hometown official scorer, when your team is getting romper-stompered by dregs, err the Phillies, and choosing to keep a 34-game hit streak alive.
