Let's not go there again, please. I don't need the nastygrams from Hockey Goon in my PM box.

I was just watching a DVD set of the 1986 World Series. Marty Barrett was hitting .429 and reached base 12 times in five games going into Game 6, and yet didn't score a run. He still would have been the MVP of that series had they won.

So Derrek Lee goes back on the DL with inflammation of that wrist problem. Can any other bad things happen to the Cubs?

I was just going to post this.

Glad to know Dusty and Co. don't just rush pitchers back early from injuries. Can't wait to watch Neifi Perez at first base.

Of course he is. Hall of Fame pussbag. Didn't get a title til he road the Yankees' coattails in 1999 and 2000.

Yeah BYH, nobody ever talks about Clemens asking out of a potential clinching game of the World Series. Maybe that should be part of his plaque.
