First, who in the NL Central do you have in each category?

Also, this chart is misleading without a great category.

There are no great teams, guy.

NL Central is Cards, Reds... Stros, Brewers ... Cubs, Pirates

Great is relative, but having a class with the Reds & Red Sox together is not that helpful.  Cincy is more likely to finish 4th than 2nd IMO.

    They have pitching.

P.S. F*ck the Yankees for their bullshit win last night.

I see Boston continues to pound the hapless Royals pitching, winning 1-0 in the 8th. Boston won 1-0 yesterday, and needed a terrible pitch to beat KC on Monday. How can that offense not bash apart Kansas City?

Mike Gonzalez is nasty -- 15/15 in save chances, including a nail-biter today against the Rockies. A LHP with 95 MPH heat would look pretty good on a contender. Actually, he'd in Boston if Brandon Lyon wasn't damaged goods.

If the Reds wanted a true difference maker, they should have sought out this guy. He's certainly not getting much play in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, my bad. For whatever reason I thought Glavine had 300 already. Oopsy.

As it is, I just can't see Gonzalez staying around past July 31. I'm sure a handful of NL contenders (Dodgers?) will make some decent offers.

Did I just hear it right: They said the Red Sox haven't played/won back-to-back 1-0 games at Fenway since 1916. Helluva streak if it's true.

If I were a GM for the Yankees (Anaheim, Houston, Detroit, & others too), I'd bring him in for a workout & see what he can do.  I wouldn't be shocked if he played a valuable Strawberry for the Yankees like role for a playoff team.  I would be very surprised if he's not at least as good as Bernie or Guiel.

I love baseball, but if my life had depended on it, I couldn't have told you I knew that John Gibbons was the Jays' manager. Who exactly is John Gibbons?
