Wish the Nats could play the Cubs at home every day.
Would have been worse if Soriano hadn't been thrown out at home twice - standing up. I guess they want to make sure he doesn't get hurt so they can trade him, unlike Vidro and Guillen.

Three doubles and a triple today and out at home twice. Nice afternoon.

Go to work on Geoff Jenkins while you're at it, too.

If you could take a short side trip to Detroit and work over Chris Shelton, that'd be great too.

C'mon, all Turnbow has to do is get one guy out with the bases-loaded to lower that ERA to 198.84!

And yet people argue it with you all the time here!! You must be like twobit, thinking everyone is insane except you.

Once again, for the last time:

Number of World Series champions since 2000: six
Number of Super Bowl champions since 2000 season: four

Yeah that huge payroll has paid off for the Yankees!!!

    Go away.

Well, they do make the playoffs every year, and not everyone can say that.

Yes, the Red Sox have turned to Kyle Snyder, Kason Gabbard and others for pitching this season. They also have the luxury of having Beckett, Schilling and Papelbon while Wells, Wakefield and Clement are hurt.

Yes, the Yankees have turned to Andy Phillips, Melky Cabrera and others for hitting this season. They also have the luxury of having A-Rod, Giambi, Jeter and co. while Sheffield, Matsui and Cano are hurt.

Some franchises simply have far more of a margin of error than others. Not saying I would make excuses to explain the Royals, Pirates or any other team that obviously needs to dump more money into their farm systems to try and replicate the A's, Twins and Tigers. Just saying that some teams can afford to have one or three major injuries/personnel mistakes and get away with it, while other teams would be buried before Memorial Day because of it.

Annd ... the Brewers' bullpen (sort of) blows another one. Cocksucker motherfucker.

Though I suppose the blame this time is on starter Dave Bush's head. He only managed to go three innings, and Geremi Gonzalez gave up the winning run in the last of his 4 1/3 innings.

Hey jack asses, you do realize Bob Uecker's getting stalked right? Give the man something to look forward to for crissakes. At this rate, he might pick the stalker over announcing this pathetic-ass display.

Oh, and Carlos Lee? Thanks for your service. See you on the trading block next week.

    DAMMIT! FUCKING FUCKITY FUCK FUCK!

The vast majority of teams making the playoffs in baseball (since 2005, 2000, 1990, 1980.... take your fucking pick) are in the top half of payroll. The Yankees are never out of it, and that is solely due to the $200M payroll.

Every team making the NFL playoffs has a payroll around the league average.

    You simpleton.

Maybe the cocksucker will listen to your logic instead.

What a putz he is on this issue.

Yes, that's always a nice way to get people to listen to you: Call them cocksuckers.

    Take your meds.

Edit: What's your defense for the Patriots having enough depth to survive injuries to their first two units in the secondary in 2004? It sure seems they had a larger margin for error than, say, the Cardinals. Could it be that it's just, gasp, organizational smarts that allows teams to survive injuries and ineffectiveness?

Go back to jerking off to stock footage of tackling dummies.

I love when the mope makes the point for me.

It is precisely organizational smarts separating the Patriots.

    As it should be.

It isn't oodles and oodles of cash covering up mistakes and misfortune, solely becaue your team is located in New York instead of St. Petersburg.

    God... that was easy.

Oh, so when it's your sport and the Pats rely on depth to win, it's an example of why the sport is great.

Yet when the Sox and Yankees rely on depth to win, it's an example of why the sport is shit.

My God, you boggle my mind with your ineptitude.
