Maicer Izturis, who gets the rest of the playing time at second base, is hitting .297 on the season. Just sayin' :)

    Geez BYH,

Ya lost me when you mentioned Bochy. He's been as historically bad in big games as Scioscia.

And why is Gaston a douche? Posada acted like a big baby. I'm sure no Yankee has even thrown at someone to protect his hitters.

What did Cito do in that situation to be a douche? Did I miss something?

So the Yankees drill two guys, Carlson throws at Posada's ass and misses b like 10 feet, the Posada acts likes he's the offended party? Then he cheap shots Carlson with his elbow after scoring and says "he was in the baseline."

And that's the Blue Jays' fault?

As Bandwagon Boy has noted, Derrick Jeter has set ANOTHER all-time Yankee hit record. The guy is just incredible.

Wow. How did Derek Jeter do though?

I can see that you're not familiar with Bandwagon Boy. But you're on the right track; I should have spelled it Derrick Jeeter.

Gaston is a wuss for abiding by this all summer. The Jays have had a guy drilled in the mouth and beaned in the head in just the last three weeks. Enough is enough. As the great American Popeye once said, 'I've had all I can stands, I can't stands no more.'

It sure is a good thing Joe Mauer isn't eligible for the MVP, because he's 2-3 with two RBI, a run scored and a walk thus far today. Now hitting .374. I mean, if a guy like that were eligible for the award, it would be hard not to give it to him.

    Zeke, Zeke, Zeke,

The MVP voting rules clearly state that only Canadian-born Twins are eligible for MVP honors.
