I'll take some bubbly... but I'm guessing Bud Selig will protest.

I still think it's amazing he hasn't blown a save at home in two years.

Has he been that hot against other teams?

He is 4-0 with a 1.48 ERA against the Tigers this year. So they will probably end up with about three hits and one player will have two of those.

Enjoy the division title, zeke and enjoy losing to the Yankees, who will beat that overrated Scioscia and the Angels. :D :D :D :D

We were at a local establishment last night and my wife looks at the game on the tube and asks me "What the fuck is a Duensing?"

Now that ESPN has declared the Twins as being in the pennant race, is there any doubt that Joe Mauer should be MVP, even to the cranky old scribes with an old-school mentality?

    Poor Justin Verlander.

That's on Leyland for having a rook out there during a day game at the Dome, though.

    3-2 Twins.

I think Zeke is beginning to believe...that the Twins can win the Central, not that Mauer can win the MVP.

He pulled Guillen and Ordonez for defensive replacements and has done so repeatedly in the past.
Not really a smart decision to lose your better offensive players, in a one-run game.
