Nobody said it had to be Zumaya.

Apparently the Indians think they have to play like the Cubs when they're playing the Cubs.

I wish every other team would do that.

Cubs just got their average weekly output — eight runs — in the third inning!

Detroit already lost today. Hopefully the Sox lead holds up.

By the way, that's 60 runs in 5 games and 1 inning for the Sox.

Thome just hit a two-run shot to make it five runs for Sox in 2nd inning. No outs.

Good gosh did Jason Marquis take one for the team.

I'm even more thrilled that he's on my roto team. (Thankfully I have a few White Sox hitters too)

I was wondering why LaRussa left him in for 13 earned runs.

Wood could be done for the year. He's having trouble getting past 70 pitches in his simulated games. (Of course he still is undefeated in those simulated games  :D)

Wood season, Cubs career possibly done?

Why isn't Wood just a closer yet? Hell he can go two innings every time out, and that dramatically shortens the amount of time your lesser relievers will be needed in a game.

Hasn't Wood fought becoming a closer in the past?

But your closer can't take a month off every time he pitches two innings.
