Padilla is a head case too. His own worst enemy half the time.

Balls that travel 97 mph shouldn't have that much movement. Reason No. 2,219 I hate the Sox.

How many wins will it take to win the AL Central? 105?

Wasn't there a "Tigers are frauds" thread a few weeks ago?

The most lame-ass, lemming logic always seems to come from baseball people.

    The numbers are the numbers.

Attaching one person's stats to the success or failure of the TEAM is just fucking patently stupid.

    In the NBA? Sure.

And, yet, Wade still would have won that award.

Even the NBA writers, despite the Shaq robbery last year, aren't that fucking stupid.

Maybe more, as those teams continue to beat up on the shit that is the NL Central.

The Twins do have to play the Dodgers, though.

The guy who started it killed himself. Twice.

Still, with Pujols and Soriano around, it's hard to think Reyes as MVP.

And this has been a great game to watch. Starting watching it after the CWS and Marlins-Yankees got done when I was at work. And now I'm home. I love games like this.

I agree completely on Reyes, Oz.

Right now, I'd say Wright, Pujols and Nomar are the top three NL candidates.

Despite what wholottabullshit (or whatever Pube is calling himself these days) might think, Sori won't get much play in MVP vote because the Nats aren't going to contend.

I'm going to REE REE REEgret doing this, but what the hell.

As certain as you are that you are right about every fucking thing in the world, this is not lame ass lemming logic exercised by baseball writers. It's the most VALUABLE player award, not the most OUTSTANDING player award. That's why Ozzie Smith, whose Cardinals won a tight NL East race in 1987, should have been MVP over Andre Dawson and his 49 homers for a last-place team. And why Ortiz should have been MVP over ARod last year.

Commence cursing me and telling me to PM you my address.  ::)  ::)
