Not that anything just happened to make me post this at this moment (earlier in the game thought it)...

Bernie Williams in right field is an abomination. He's one of my favorite baseball players, but he doesn't even have the arm of a bat boy, let alone a right fielder.

Uhj, Lastings didn't exactly distinguish himself on the basepaths either.

All this talk about the Yankees and Mets ... like anyone cares about those teams. :D

Or in the clubhouse...or at the plate...in the field...with his teammates...

I just realized, Oz, the Pirates (28) and Royals (27) combined have 7 more wins than the Mets.

C'mon now ... when you root for two loosers, you can't help but make a comment like that. You must have missed the sarcasm font there.

Still wouldn't give him up for Zito. But I'm not as against it as I was a month ago.

I think Jeter is one of the most overrated players in the history of the game.

ARod dominates the guy in regular-season stats... and postseason too. And, he moved positions for that putz.

Mets won a WS in 1986 and went in 2000... that's not a track record of success?

At the risk of joining this:

If we're talking about just going to the World Series, the Cardinals won in '82 and went in '85, '87 and '04.

So, they both have gone twice in the past 20 years, with the Mets winning once.

Like I said.... both teams have a pretty good track record.
